My goal is to help people find purpose, raise their consciousness, and develop courage and inner-strength. If you're looking to improve your relationship with yourself and others, as well as the overall quality of your life, then this program is for you.
If you're going through a challenging time in your life and find yourself depressed, anxious, or overwhelmed this program is your you.
If you're recovering from alcohol related issues and looking to find direction and help living an enjoyable, fulfilling and rewarding life, no longer dependent on alcohol, this program is for you.
If you feel like you're stuck in your life, like you have no options, and you're just going through the motions this program is for you.
If you're looking for motivation, confidence, and a map to success, whatever that looks like to you, then this program is for you.
The core of the program is what I like to call "Altruistic Selfishness." Now you may be thinking, "Doesn't 'altruistic' mean 'unselfish?' How can you be unselfishly selfish?!" That's a fair question. In order to be unselfishly selfish, we need to learn to take care of ourselves, so we are in the best position to help the people who matter most to us in our lives. Abraham Lincoln once said, "You can't help the poor by becoming one of them." This is true in all aspects of life. Being "poor" isn't just about lacking finances, it's lacking in anything. You could be poor in health, poor in spirit, poor in quality of life or many other areas. The goal here is to help you find inner riches and increase the quality of your life by increasing the quality of your thinking and the quality of your relationships with yourself and other people. When you begin to accumulate these kinds of riches, the financial riches are far more likely to follow because of the type of person you become along the way.
If you've ever flown on an airplane, you know that the flight crew will suggest that you to put your own oxygen mask before attempting to help others with their's. "Altruistic Selfishness" works on the same principle; in order to be of the most assistance to other people, you need to have your own life sorted first.
Whether it's changing your diet, incorporating an exercise program, developing mindfulness, or working on your own mental attitude, each step that you take to improve the quality of your life can create a ripple effect in the lives of those around you. The best way to inspire is to lead by your own example; people don't see you differently when you tell them what you've been up to. They take notice when they see the changes you've made with their own eyes. When you change for the better you inspire other people in your life to do the same and give them the confidence to believe that if you can do it, then so can they. That's not because they're better or you're worse, it's because the people closest to you generally believe that, in most areas, they are just as capable as you.
I help people discover the changes they need to make, help them establish a plan of action, and break that plan into manageable steps so they can take the appropriate actions without feeling overwhelmed, lost, or intimidated by the changes that they'll be facing. My part in this process is to give you the tools you need to make the necessary changes, provide you with accountability, and a road map to your success so all you have to do is focus on the task at hand and trust that the next step will present itself when the time comes.
